Camp Bentzon kawau Island.

Have you ever been to a camp on an Island. Well I have I just came back from the great Camp bentzon on Kawau Island. It was so great but tiring at the same time, you should keep reading and find out all of the awesome and fun activities we did at year 6 camp.   

Camp is a they that the year 6s do every year for the last 18 or more years. All of the year 6s went to camp bentzon excepted for some about four parents came to. It started november 19th through to the 22nd at kawau island. We did many activities like Abseiling that was scary, Sailing, kayaking, Confidence course,  Bush baseball, Volleyball, Bivouac, raft building ,Frisbee, Cricket, Swimming, Buma trail, spotlight, concert, Bombing of the wharf, Killer hill, morning fitness, Orienteering, and a great movie called The Princess Bride. I slept in a capen with Jazmine , Jayah , Victoria and Hannah.  

One of my highlights from camp was sailing it was so fun. I also liked kayaking but it was tiring. Sailing was awesome we learnt how to control the boat and the tiller then we set off into the water. The wind kept on catching my sail and I almost tipped over I was so scared. Every time I would switch from side to side I would hurt myself on the metal thing that kept the rope together. That was my favorite part on the water.    

One of my other highlights was doing nothing and just chilling. I also really liked swinging on the rope tied to the tree, there were two ropes one of them were short and the other was long the longer one was better than the short one. My mum came on camp to she was cool everyone liked her she was just chilling with me and that was cool. 

I would like to say thank you to the school and all the Teachers that came to camp. And a big thank you to all the parents and helpers that came otherwise we wouldn't have enough helpers to come with us to camp. I would really like to say a big thanks to the chef that cooked our food every morning and night that tasted great.   

I loved camp so much it was so amazing. But I hated the killer hill the killer hill is such a tiring hill when you get to camp you have to walk up the big hill and then walk back to camp. The other thing that I really hated was having to wake up about 7:00 and run up half of the killer hill. Apart from that camp was AMAZING !!!!!

Write a to-do list for a nerdy firefighter who eats toast for every meal.

2. Brush teeth.

4. Make more toast for lunch.

Describe the house of a freckled witch who lives on top of a mountain.

The freckled witch lives in a castle but it is a haunted castle of course. It has boards for windows because they were broken There are holes in the deck at the front of the house. The house is basically falling into pieces. It is always dark when you look through the front door you will never see light inside.Sometimes you will see flashes of green and red that is probably when she is making her potions.No one goes up to the top of the hill because they are always scared of her.One time this little boy and his friends dared him to go up to the house and knock on her door. When he knocked on the door after he dodged all of the holes in the deck he knocked on the door there was this weird little sound and then,The deck broke and he went through it.You never saw him or heard of him again. he vanished we don’t know if he is dead or she turned him into something.

david walliams Demon Dentist.

this is my library book from david walliams Demon Dentist. This is a very long book it has 439 pages very long. it is a really cool book for what I have read of it because I haven' t read all of it. you should read this if you like the dentist if you want to but if you don't like the dentist like me if you want to read it then go ahead but maybe not. Hi my name is aaliyah and I will show you how to get to room 20. First  you head north through the big red doors. Then you would be in the breeze. When your in the breeze then you would head north west and then you would be at the foya. You would have to go east then south through the two white doors. You would be at the side entrance. After that you will see the sign that says 20. That means you go there and that would be at room 20. Thank you.

Setting Description

When I was jumping into the largest habitat on earth I was so excited for what I was going to see, hear and maybe even touch. I saw lots of bubbles at first but then I saw a whole new world under the ocean. It was wonderfully beautiful, it was amazing. The fish that I got to see was a clown fish known as Nemo and a fish with black and white stripes. When I turned around I saw a big school of gray fish. I got to touch the seaweed when I was going to touch it was was so scared but it was fun It felt like slime and it was really long It was very slimey very slimy and I do not know why I was scared for. Of course I got to touch lots of rocks  some of the rocks were very very large and most of them had seaweed on then they also had some other they on I don’t know what it is thought I even got to touch a starfish when I was touching that starfish it felt really lumpy but that was fun suddenly more starfish’s started to appear. The first one was a yellow one with red stripes then more and more and more came then me and my friends left. After that we heard The whales and the dolphin's making there beautiful sounds. That was so amazing too.

Year 5/6 Camp Writing

Team 4 the year 5 / 6 ‘s went on the year 5 / 6 camp last week, on wednesday the 6th to friday the 8th. We did our year 5 and 6 camp on the field at pt england school.that is where we don’t have to any work we just do cool and fun activities.


Camp means we sleep outside in tents and it means we don’t have to do any work instead we do fun and cool activities. Camp goes for 3 day and 2 nights we have groups and we name them the group that I was in it was called Tama Fia Fia. The first day of camp Tama Fia Fia and all the other groups sat down in a big marquee we have points that can be given out to any of the groups that the teacher picks. The first fun activity Tama Fia Fia did was the KILLER ZONE The killer zone is when you do lots of cool and fun adventures and racing the other team Tama Fia Fia raced male male katoua and it was really fun and we thought that we were going to win but we didn’t that was ok though because that was our first game of camp. We also did water slide, cyclo ball, Kayaking,swimming at the pools,scootering and ping pong,and Mr Someovile and his really really healthy treats (they were just lollies).


My first highlight was kayaking because me and my friend Eva we went far and we went around the pole that is in the water. We went half way around it and then we turnt the wrong way and we crashed into the pole we were screaming in a quiet way though. We were trying to turn around but we went the hard we went out behind the pole but we got back to the sore but before we went back the the other people we just sat there in our kayak and the water was so calm and then we had to go back to the sore.

My other highlight was the dessert. OMG the dessert was so nice the first night the dessert was cream, like a hershey pie but with caramel at the bottom. And it also had sprinkles hundred and thousand sprinkles it was so nice yum yum in my tum. Then the second night the dessert was yogurt cream and marshmallows which is called ambrosia and it also had sprinkles it was so awesome the dessert is so nice.


I would love to say a big thanks to the helpers and the parents that helped out with camp. I would like to thank the people that helped with security at night time and the people that help with the pools on friday. And I would say a big thanks to Miss Timmy for helping out with the amazing dinner, breakfast and dessert.

Camp was so fun and cool because all the fun and games that we did. Also the food that was so awesome and sleeping in the tents so cool we all had a fun time a the year 5 and 6 camp this year.
