Welcome back - holidays
Task Description:
Hi Welcome back to my blog. It’s TERM 3 yay !!! Well today I’m going to be telling some things about what I did in the holidays. In the first week my cousins came over for a couple of days. We mostly just chilled and watched movies. We also did some exercise and some running around outside with the little kids. And don’t forget that we had to do those chores before my cousins left.
A few days later it’s the second week of the term 2 holidays. On monday my cousins came back from their mom for another couple of days. Like in the first week we chilled and watched more movies. But on Tuesday I went on a visitation with my dad for my other cousin's birthday and we went to dennys for dinner and some yummy cake. And during the weekend we mostly just cleaned and played games outside. My holiday wasn't that interesting but hopefully you had a funner holiday. HOPE YOU ENJOY!!

The Year 7 Leadership school
The reason why I called it the year 7 leadership school is because the year 8s have gone of to year 8 leadership camp so last week from wednesday till friday it was just the year 7.
The first day of the year 7 leadership school. The teachers sorted us out into our groups so we could make a name and a chant. I was in team Thunder with lots of other people. The other team names were strikers and duck life. Very creative. Team thunders captions where Nina and Mohamed
The second day We started our sports rotations team thunder did netball first it was really fun. After That we did activities. Each teacher had there own activity to do. Team thunder was with Mrs. Moala first we had to solve Riddles and mysterious. And Ms Tipene's class did art. Mrs Ilaoa did stacking cups. Last but not least Friday. We didn't do rotations we did games with our whole team the first game was stacking cups. Teams get points for winning and for cheering the best. Team thunder was the best cheerers for three rounds after that we did a singing challenge kinda like a riff off from pitch perfect it was so fun. Soon after that we had lunch a big shared lunch with pizza lots and lots of chips with cake and chicken and many many more food.

A world of difference - Immersion Assembly
This morning Pt England had an Immersion assembly. This term our topic is A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE!. At the start Mr. Burt showed us all of his hats that he got from all around the world. After that Mr. J told us something about his ancestors and he was wearing a celt. Team 1 is learning about other countries around the world. Team 2 did an amazing Dora the explorer episode. They are Exploring NZ to look for famous landmarks. After that team 3 presented The Amazing race around the world. Team 3 is learning about all the different places around the world and how they do things differently. Soon after that team 4 went up. They are experimenting with foods all around the world. And finally team 5. Team 5 is learning about myths and legends.

I can’t wait to start learning about legends and myths. And I’m pretty sure that everyone else is looking forward to exploring NZ and experimenting with food all around the world.
